This driver can communicate with the UHD4K-44 switcher via RS232 or IP. If you have changed to this switcher with another model AV Gear switchers, you will need to redo your programming; you cannot use driver update with this driver on previous AV Gear switcher drivers.
RS232 Connection:
Use a standard RTI DB9 to RJ45 adapter and connect straight to the RS232 port on the rear, on the right side.
IP Setup:
From the factory the units are set with a static IP address of 192.168.0.178. To change this, use a browser to go to this address 192.168.0.178 and change the LAN settings from there.
