This driver can communicate with all models of the AVG DMM range of matrices via RS232 and ethernet.
RS232 Connection:
Using a cat5 cable, wired according the 568A, then just use a standard RTI DB9 to RJ45 adapter.
Or now use the supplied phoenix plug to DB9 cable.
Ethernet:
The switchers usually come pre-configured with an IP address of 192.168.0.178
To change this, type that IP address into your web browser and then enter the password 88888
You will have to make sure the network you are connected to and the switcher is on the same subnet before this will work. Once you have logged into its web server you can change the IP address and port, etc from there. Apply your changes, then power cycle the switcher.
