This driver can communicate with the MS44-HDBT, MS88-HDBT, UHMS44, UHMS66, UHMS88, UHMS44PRO, UHMS66PRO, UHMS88 PRO, TMX44PRO and TMX88PRO models of the AVG HDBT HDMI Switchers via RS232 and IP. If you have changed this switcher with other models AV Gear switchers, you will need to redo your programming; you cannot use driver update with this driver on previous AV Gear switcher drivers.
RS232 Connection:
Use a standard RTI DB9 to RJ45 adapter and connect straight to the RS232 port on the rear, on the right side.
IP Setup:
From the factory the units are set with a static IP address of 192.168.0.178. To change this, use a browser to go to this address 192.168.0.178:100 and change the LAN settings from there.
Login details:
MSxx-HDBT series – admin admin888
UHMSxx-HDBT series – admin admin
For control of the MSxx-HDBT series in the driver use port 8080. For the UHMSxx-HDBT series use port 4001.
