This two way driver can communicate with the HDWP70TX-B scaler. It provides all control functions and feedback available from the device.
Serial Connection:
The device has two RS232 control ports, one on the front and another on the rear. You can only use one at a time.
Front RS232 Connection (Available on older versions):
Option 1: Using the phoenix plug to DB9 cable that comes with the device, you can a standard RTI DB9 to RJ45 adapter and then swap pins 2+3 around on the adapter.
Option 2: Use a cat 5/6 cable wired to the 568B standard, and then uses the following wiring into the phoenix plug.
Tx – Blue / White
Rx – Orange
Ground – Blue
Rear RS232 Connection:
