SVR-5300S is the flagship Savant Pro Host. This key building block within a Savant system runs on the Apple® Mac Mini hardware platform, and includes an M2 processor and a solid state drive for performance and reliability. The Host is not only the brains of the system that allows for high-level automation and control, it is also the central server for all user interfaces, and the connection point for system administration and monitoring. As a flagship Host product, the Savant Pro Host allows for systems of virtually any number of rooms.
For very large systems requiring over 2000 services, the Savant Super Pro Host is recommended.
New SVR-5300S Pro Host ships with da Vinci 10.2.1 software installed, and a current Savant Operating System License (OSL) for da Vinci 10 is required for deployment.
Note that due to hardware compatibility requirements, Savant does not support downgrading the SVR-5300S to any previous runtime software version.
Adding a Savant Essentials Subscription is recommended for the premier user experience, enabling enhanced features that include:
- Unlocks all advanced integrations previously requiring a specific license like the Savant Home App for AppleTV, Zoom Rooms, and Ring
- Access to software updates for the life of the subscription
- Savant Pro App Remote Access
- Entry Service video recording and cloud storage for 2N Door Stations
