The Optical Smoke Detector 7311 allows room monitoring in regard to possible events with smoke development. The sensor is mounted on the ceiling and connected to the industrial clamp of the suitable GUDE device. Thanks to integrated photodiode, visible smoke particles in the room are detected within 8 seconds. In this case, a signal is sent to the connected GUDE device, which triggers a corresponding alarm message.
Operationally dangerous fire events in the IT or AV environment are thus detected at an early stage before costly downtime occurs.
